Abraj Energy Services (AES) training center is an integral factor of AES's Human Resources, Operations and Maintenance success. Comprised of highly qualified instructors, training in two state of the art facilities and dedicated administrators. Our in-house programs have managed to fulfill 55% of all QHSE training requirements and 85 % of Electrical, Mechanical, and Operational training required for the development of our Staff. Other training requirement are currently conducted through external training centers.
AES currently offers twenty two (22) QHSE Training Courses and sixteen (16) Technical training Courses. The courses are designed to cover all occupational aspects of AES's Oil & Gas operations including Personal and Behavioral Safety, Management of Change, Electrical, Mechanical, and Drilling & Well Services technical training. AES's Rig Pass Induction training program and assessment process has been reviewed and approved by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and by the International Standards Organization (ISO 9001:2008). AES's training center, approved by the Ministry of Man Power (MoM), is also an IWCF Accredited Center for IWCF Level 2 Certification. AES's quality training programs are a combination of theory and hands-on practical exercises. Visual aids and team work exercises form a major part of the training and are designed to cut through language barriers, enhance the learning experience, and foster teamwork culture.
AES's maintenance and operations training is a league of its own. AES aims to develop the underpinning knowledge and capabilities of electrical, mechanical, and operations teams. AES works closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to deliver comprehensive high quality training programs to improve employees' capabilities on equipment they're responsible for running and maintaining on their respective operating units. As part of our corporate planning strategy, we invest in a series of development programs for Electrical, Mechanical, and Operational for newly recruited graduates, where the graduates are hired and put through an intensive program; a combination of in-class and on the job training before they're absorbed into the operations.
