Omanization Award Received by Abraj

Abraj Energy Services LLC has received a prestigious award from the Ministry of Manpower for its 2010 Omanization Program. This award is a recognition for having high Omanization level and the Company’s commitment to Omani Labor Law and Legislations.

The awarding ceremony was held at Al Bustan Palace Hotel on 13th December 2010 in the presence of HE Malik Al Maamari, Chief of Royal Oman Police, as the Guest of Honor.

The award was received for Abraj by its Chairman, Mr. Salim bin Zaher Al Sibani, in the presence of Mr. N. Ramesh CEO and Mr. Yahya Al Ghabshi, HR Manager.

Abraj Energy Services LLC is one of the major companies in the Omani Oil & Gas sector, which focuses on continuous training and development of its workforce. Abraj employs over 650 staff with Omanization level of 87%.

Mr. Salim Al Sibani stated that this recognition will encourage Abraj Management to exert further efforts in motivating its staff and realizing their maximum capabilities, they being the main pillar of the Company’s success.

Abraj received the same award from the Ministry of Manpower in 2009, and has been recognized at the GCC level in the same year.
