Mr. N. Ramesh has held the position of CEO for the last 16 years working with reputed oilfield service companies since 1992. Before joining Abraj in February 2009, he was the CEO of Essar Oilfields Services Limited in Dubai, UAE where he worked with the Board setting strategic direction for the Company’s drilling business as well as operationalising its re-entry into the drilling business after a gap of 4 years.Prior to joining Essar, he was CEO for Dalma Energy where he was part of implementing growth plans increasing rig fleet to 22 representing 100% operational growth in a span of 3 years.Mr. Ramesh holds a degree in BA (Hons) with specialization in Economics and MBA Finance from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta |

Abdullah Al Hady
GM – Operations

Mr. Abdullah Al Hady joined Abraj as Head of Drilling in July 2006. As a start up Company, he established drilling and maintenance systems and procedures and is overseeing the operations of 6 drilling rigs and 1 SMS unit. He later became Operations Manager and recently promoted as GM – Operations. With 15 years of combined technical and management experience, Mr. Al Hady led the team in successfully setting up a warehouse, purchasing/hiring of drilling tools and equipment and commissioning of two 1000HP rigs in 3 months and two Ideal NOV 1500HP and 2 Quick Silver IDM rigs in one month. Before joining Abraj, he worked with PDO in Well Engineering since 1995. During this period he held various positions like Senior Well Engineer, Drilling Supervisor and Site Well Engineer.Mr. Al Hady holds a degree in Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University. He is also a Shell-certified Well Engineer.

L. Rajan

Mr. L. Rajan is a Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), Fellow Member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (FICWA) and Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS). He has over 25 years of experience and has joined Abraj in August, 2009 and is designated as General Manager - Finance. He has rich experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury & Banking, Investments, Accounts, Costing, Taxation, Insurance, Secretarial and Internal Audit functions of large Multinational Companies in India. He has attended a number professional development programs conducted by Institutes in India. He has also attended number of Management Programs in India and in GCC.In India, he worked for 16 Years with Smithkline Beecham UK Ltd., Maruti Suzuki Joint Venture, and an Engineering Company, while in Oman he had worked with FMCG Company for 8 Years. He has been holding the position of General Manager / Chief Financial Officer for more than 12 Years. |

Yahya Al Ghabshi

In October 2007, Mr. Yahya Al Ghabshi joined Abraj as Head of Training. He worked in close coordination with HSE Department to implement training programs required for rig crew to maintain high level of crew competency both in the HSE and technical front. In 2009 he was appointed to assume the post of HR Manager at the same time maintaining his responsibilities as Head of Training. Mr. Al Ghabshi is a Bachelor Degree holder in Science (Soil & Water) with a Shell Certificate holder in Drilling (Round 1 & 2). His previous employment details include MB Petroleum Services as Mud Engineer until August 2001. In October of 2001, he joined PDO’s Well Engineering Department before joining Abraj. |

Salah Al Harthy
Business Development

Mr. Salah Al Harthy joined Abraj as Business Development Manager in January 2011. Prior to joining Abraj, Mr. Al Harthy was with Schlumberger, starting as Field Engineer in 1999 and becoming Operations Manager in 2003, Project Manager for Shell Gulf of Mexico Project in 2006 and in 2009 assuming the post of Business Development Manager – Sand Management, East Africa and East Mediterranean Geo-Market.During his stint with Schlumberger, he was posted in various overseas assignments including Saudi, UAE, Venezuela and the USA.His technical expertise includes Cementing, Sand Face Completion Designs, Fracturing and Sand Control, Completion Accessories and Matrix Acidizing Treatments, among others. |

Saleh Albalushi
Business Support

Mr. Saleh Albalushi joined Abraj in October of 2006 as Corporate Affairs Manager. He later held the post of Business Support Manager in view of his work scope extending to operational logistics such as rig moves, crane hires, transport, fuel supply and environmental services. Procurement and IT were also under his supervision until the relevant managers were appointed.Before joining Abraj, he was Deputy Chief for Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.Mr. Albalushi holds a Master’s Degree in International Development. |

Waleed Al Harthy
QHSE Manager

In September 2006, Mr. Waleed Al Harthy was appointed as HSE Senior Advisor in Abraj. He was later promoted as HSE Manager and subsequently held the position of QHSE Manager. He established Quality and HSE systems, policies, procedures and guidelines in line with international standards and clients’ requirements. He ensures that Abraj employees are up-to-date with QHSE training for compliance with QHSE standards and most importantly to deliver high level performance in QHSE.Mr. Al Harthy holds IOSH and NEBOSH certificates which he completed with honors.He was working for MB Petroleum Services as Senior QHSE Advisor before his appointment in Abraj. |
